Ranui Record

“I'm a big believer in giving back. During my treatment my family and I spent 482 nights at Ranui house.”

Ranui house is a "home away from home" for families to support patients from my medical condition that requires long term treatment. 

On March 29, 2023, I finally got to give back to an establishment that provides essential care to so many families throughout New Zealand.

Together with a team of legends I used cold immersion (something I’m very passionate about!) to raise funds for this incredible place.

The fundraiser was an "unofficial icebath record". I spent 21 minutes in an 0.8 degree icebath, which raised over $100,000 for Ranui house. Freezing for a bloody good reason!!
